The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is one of the largest American mixed martial arts (MMA) companies. This company is owned by TKO Group Holding and its original owner is Endeavor Group Holdings. It is a global multi-billion-dollar company that promotes martial arts fighting events worldwide. According to a survey in 2022, it held more than 600 events. UFC ranks high in promoting martial arts events that showcase 11 Weight divisions, Three for women and eight for men.

UFC elite various fighting disciplines like Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, boxing, and Muay Thai. This all operated under the unified rules of martial arts that were held in an octagonal cage known by the name of Octagon and Octagon Ring fight. History 

The UFC was first founded in 1993 by Brazilian martial artist, Rorion Gracie, and businessman Art Davie. They arranged the first match at McNichols Sports Arena in Denver in 1993 and its main purpose was to identify the best martial artist.  At this earlier stage, there were no special rules and martial arts fighters competed with each other to win the fight but with time rules started to evolve. Now they created modern styles of fighting known as Present-day- mixed martial arts. This company was first owned by Semaphore Entertainment Group (SEG) but they sold that to Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank brothers and formed the company, Zuffa. In 2016, Zuffa sold that company to Endeavor and they made Dana White the president of that company and she has remained CEO till 2023. She brought this industry to a billion-dollar industry under her presidency.
